Staying just only one night is not worth it as your boat arrives in the late afternoon and depart for boat jetty in early morning. You won't have enough chance to relax and enjoy our full facilities and excursion visiting the unique culture heritage of local hilltribe villages.
We strongly recommend you to stay at least two nights or more in order to discover the area and perhaps, you might consult with your cruise operators for further details of your second legs cruise departure from Pakbeng (There are number of boats depart from Houay Xay or Luang Prabang to Pakbeng or you might take high speed train to the nearest station in Oudomxay then take minivan to Pakbeng by 3hrs)
